Salon software that stays out of the way.

Most salon software is built for chains. It assumes multiple locations, a central marketing team and a reporting layer that a two-chair shop has no use for. The result is an expensive dashboard nobody opens.

Saloon takes the opposite approach. One salon, one team, a public page that shows your real prices, and a dashboard that answers the only questions that matter before the shop closes: how many appointments came in, how much came with them, and which services carried the week.

How it is built

The web app runs on Next.js with Firestore as the database, and the customer app is built in Flutter for Android. Tenant isolation is enforced in Firestore security rules rather than in the interface, so a salon can only ever read its own customers, appointments and services.

Booking is designed around the constraint that actually matters in a salon: a slot can only be taken once. Overlapping bookings are rejected at the database, not in the browser, so two people tapping “confirm” at the same time still produce one appointment.

What we are careful about

Figures shown on this site come from the database rather than from a marketing deck. Where a number does not exist yet, the page says nothing instead of inventing a placeholder.
